Sales Manager

Role in a nutshell: Day to day sales management within a regulated environment

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a team (comprising of mortgage advisers and administrators) to deliver an exceptional customer experience from the first appointment through to completion.
• Ensure monthly/quarterly sales targets are met
• Motivate the team to achieve their full potential and address any issues as they arise. IE Not meeting targets Poor customer outcome, Poor risk outcomes
• Work closely with Head of CX and Head of Sales to ensure compliance standards are met by your squad and provide feedback on customer and colleague experiences/outcomes
• Monitor KPIs for squad members and take appropriate measures to address development ares in-line with tailored ME development plans.
• Communicate effectivley with the product & Marketing team to ensure ops needs to make them more efficient are met and to highlight potential issues or opportunities
• Identify and address knowledge and training gaps in the team.
• Conducting periodic 1 to 1 meetings with team members, with clear measurable objectives set and robust performance management where appropriate.
• Supporting recruitment for the mortgage operations team where appropriate.
• Conduct periodic and productive team meetings, which address the key challenges of the team
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as lender BDMs and other partners.
• Collect relevant information and customer feedback from squads and communicate to Head of sales/Head of CX
